A conversation between my apprentice and I.
Me: We need to move this electrical meter loop so it will be within the power company’s specification.
Apprentice: he started doing something else other than what was asked of him.
Me: why are you not moving that meter loop
Apprentice: It’s hot and normally I let the power company disconnect it.
Me: But the power company is not here and we have to get the job done today
Apprentice: Well that’s my journeyman’s problem not mine.
Me: Great Anwser!!!!!
Moral of the story to all looking to get into the electrical trade NEVER allow anyone to encourage you to do something that you are not comfortable with. This job is too dangerous and the most important thing is to make it home everyday.
